A stitch in Time is different from the other book that Kelley Armstrong has written before, and she did an amazing job.. I absolutely loved it.. We get a haunted house mystery, time travel, and a swoonworthy romance.. Its everything I love in books all thrown together and it turned out perfectly.. The ghosts were spooky, and kept me on the edge of my seat. The mystery kept me guessing, the time traveling was awsome.. and the romance between Bronwyn and William was perfection. Also there is a kitten named Enigma who is the most adorable little trouble maker… I want to list every little thing I loved, but that would spoil the whole book.. so Ill just leave it at I loved it, if you like time travel, haunted house mystery, and romance you should definitely check this book out…
This is unlike any book Ive ever read and I loved it! I love the way Molly and Tom banter with each other, and they had some great chemistry.. As thomas is always getting injured it provides Molly with lots of opportunity to see him without a shirt.. I definitely want to continue on with this series.. I can’t wait to see what kind of trouble that Tom and Molly are going to get into next!! Molly is an independant woman who is trying to find a purpose to her life.. When she ends up on the run from some mysterious people, she runs right onto Captain Thomas Crowes ship.. Thomas Crowe is a charismatic, very handsome, and a man with some secrets.and he is on a mission.. One that Molly might be able to help him with… One night Molly finds out that well werewolves are real.. and that the captain happens to be one.. Now she has been thrust in to a world fulled with the supernatural.. and as scared as she is.. she also loves it.. and molly and the captain are also falling for each other..
Book 3 in the Eleanor Wilde series releases Oct 27 2020
Just as fake medium Eleanor Wilde begins falling for Nicholas Hartford III and his endearing family, she’s summoned to a remote Scottish castle where an unusual assignment to locate a haunted trove of treasure threatens Eleanor’s budding romance, her livelihood . . . and her life!
Curses are For Cads is a great parnormal mystery.. While I didn’t realize when I requested it that it was part of a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed reading this and would definitely like to read the first two in the series..
Eleanor is a fake medium, but the whole villiage she lives in believes that she is a real witch. In fact the children tend to flock to her and follow her around waiting for her to do something witchy.. She uses her fake powers for good though. When her boyfriend Nicolas asks her to help a friend of his talk to their dead father and ask the location of missing treasure she couldn’t pass it up.
Eleanor arrives at the Scottish castle and within a day weird things begin to happen.. While the family is telling Eleanor the story behind the missing treasure that is actually cursed..The power goes out, and cousin Otis shows up and scares the crap out of everyone..
People start dying and Eleanor is having visions.. It was non stop fom the beginning to the end.. and kept me sucked in.. The curse seems to be working against everyone.. or is it actually someone else behind it all trying to find the treasure for themselves.. I had no idea what what going to happen from one minute to the next and was surprised with the reveal at the end..
I voluntarily read and reviewed and advanced copy of this book.. All opinions are my own..
“Little Bones lives in a home, With eleven thin little boys. Each night they moan, for their own headstone, As their bones are now her toys.
Cherrie is a normal woman, who does normal things. She gets up every morning and gets her son Robin off to school., she goes to work at the local grocer in the deli department.. Until one day after meeting with a psychic that gives her an ominous warning that her son is in danger, she wakes up and happens across a podcast that can tear her whole world apart… You see Cherrie was born Leigh-ann Hendy and is the daughter of the nortorious seriel killer known as Mister Bones. In trying to link the crimes the podcaster exposes Cherries new identity and things just go down hill from there. Little Bones is definitely a fast paced thriller and a pretty quick read.. Throughout the whole story I thought I knew who the bad guy was going to be, and I was completly wrong.. I definitely didn’t see what happened coming.. It did loose me a bit in the middle. There was alot happening and became a bit confusing.. It did come through in the end though.. I did quite enjoy this story and would read more by this author..
I voluntarily read and review and advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own..
Second. I also really loved this book.. From page one where we start at the funeral of Eulalie who was found in the water having fallen off of a cliff.. and they send her body back to the water..
It has everything I love. Its a retelling, of the 12 dancing princesses, has some paranormal elements and is extra spooky.. at one point we don’t know if everything we have seen prior is real or if its just our main character slowly going crazy….. and it has a bit of a love story.. which always makes me happy..
This is a perfect October read for me, Im glad I waited to read it 🙂
In a manor by the sea, twelve sisters are cursed.
Annaleigh lives a sheltered life at Highmoor, a manor by the sea, with her sisters, their father, and stepmother. Once they were twelve, but loneliness fills the grand halls now that four of the girls’ lives have been cut short. Each death was more tragic than the last—the plague, a plummeting fall, a drowning, a slippery plunge—and there are whispers throughout the surrounding villages that the family is cursed by the gods.
Disturbed by a series of ghostly visions, Annaleigh becomes increasingly suspicious that the deaths were no accidents. Her sisters have been sneaking out every night to attend glittering balls, dancing until dawn in silk gowns and shimmering slippers, and Annaleigh isn’t sure whether to try to stop them or to join their forbidden trysts. Because who—or what—are they really dancing with?
When Annaleigh’s involvement with a mysterious stranger who has secrets of his own intensifies, it’s a race to unravel the darkness that has fallen over her family—before it claims her next. (less)
Adam and Lark find each other in a kind of bizarre set of circumstances that lead Lark asking for Adam to marry her… Which was good because he was about to throw her into a sack to rescue her from being forced to marry someone else.. Adams clan has been cursed, so he and his brothers are trying to find wifes to help bring the clan back. Lark doesn’t want to be forced to marry but her father isn’t giving her a choice.. This had some very sweet moments that just made me smile to myself… While it had some sweet momenst, it also had dark secrets, a curse, and some very good steamy times… I was hooked from the beginning, and this is definitely a book I could see myself reading again and again. I knew I made a good choice requesting this when as soon as I finished I went to see when the next one will be coming out! I definitely want to check out this authors backlist, and Ill be buying a finished copy of this book when it comes out..
I love every single book in this series! I have already pre-ordered the next book due out september 2021.. Ellie and Stacy are travelling up into the mountains to an abandoned camp ground to meet their clients.. Strane things have been happening to the family and the wife in particular. She has hired Ellie and Stacy to try and figure out what is going on.. With a handful of mysterious deaths, and an old Indian Legend of the Trailwalker, there are no end to the possibilities of what could be the cause of all the spooky happenings.. but Ellie and Stacy are up to the challenge, and will do whatever they can to help the family and move the ghosts along.. If you love spooky, ghost stories I highly recommend this series.. Its one of my all time favorites and I look forward to every new release..
I really enjoyed reading The Last Girl Alive! This is the first book I have read in this series, and I definitely want to read the others.. Katie is an Army Vet turned cop in the cold case unit. She is stubborn, and determined to do whatever she needs to do to help her case. Last Girl Alive is the perfect amount of thriller/suspense with both serious and lighthearted moments.. and how much to I love her dog Cisco, who was with her in the army.. I mean who doesnt love a canine sidekick? This case had me on the edge of my seat from the moment the body was found until the very end.. Throughout the whole story I had no idea who the bad guy was, or what was going to happen next, and when it was finally revealed I was super suprised as I had not even suspected this person. I can’t wait to read more from this series, and this author..
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me read an advanced copy of this book.. All opinions are my own
I absolutely loved this book.! It was spooky and delighfully creepy. It kept me sucked in, and I read it in one sitting. I just needed to know how it was going to end!.. Kara has just moved into her uncles Curiosity museum, when she finds a hole in the wall. Her friend Simon offers to help her patch it up, when they realize that there is a space behind the wall.. A hallway.. and what are you going to do but explore it and see where it goes.. The whole vibe of this book was perfect, exactly what I was hoping it would be. It kind of reminded me of the Twilight zone, when something seems impossible, but also perfectly plausible.. Could there be other worlds out there that are so close to ours that the right set of circumstances could have you falling through? What would happen if you did, and what would be waiting for you on the other side? and what would you do to get yourselves back home where hopefully the other world won’t be able to follow. .I will definitley be checking out this authors backlist, and anything she releases in the future..

This is the sequel to A Touch of Gold. I would definitely recommend reading that one first, as this book takes place directly after it ends.
WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
I did quite enjoy reading the second book in this duology. After facing down the pirate, fixing her relationship with her cousin hettie, falling in love and saving her father Kora is taking her place as a princess and future queen. when the palace is attacked by Satyrs that were sent to kill Kora. Her and Royce must go and find the Oracle to figure out why Dionysis is after her and how to stop him from destroying her Kingdom.. Kora has to bargain with Gods, and face down Gorgons all the while trying to reach a dissapearing island. The stakes were higher in this book. as Kora is givin a vision of what will happen if Dionysis is allowed to make it to the shores of her kingdom.. Basically everyone will die including Royce and Hettie. Everything did feel like it was happening pretty fast, but they did only have a few days before Dionysis attacks her kindgom so it didn’t bother me to much.. Kora, Royce and the crew get to meet Posiden and his son Triton. who are both kind of douchy. but Triton really ends up redeeming himself in the end.. While I love Kora and Royce my new favorite character is Tritons pet sea monster, whose name I can’t remember at the moment.. At first he was sent to sink the Royces ship, so Kora turns him to gold… Triton makes an agreement with Kora to turn him back, and it turns out his like a giant sea monster puppy dog. That likes to sit on Tritons lap, lick him and play fetch.. I thought the ending of this was really good, while I was hoping for the reappearance of a certain character everything else ended just how I wanted it to..
